Din Johnson started roasting coffee as a hobby, and has taken his passion for truly good coffee and made it into a life's work: Ristretto Roasters. If you stop by the café at 3520 NE 42nd Ave, in the heart of Portland’s Beaumont/Alameda neighborhood, you'll often see him roasting Ristretto beans, batch by small batch.
Ristretto Roasters is open 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
